Plan Breakdown

HDFC Ergo Optima Secure: Secure Benefit

HDFC ERGO Optima Secure offers a rare yet very powerful benefit:

Secure Benefit
Doubles the cover from day one at no additional cost.

Illustration:
Rahul (age 38) buys a ₹10 lakh policy.
During the same year, a bypass surgery costs ₹18 lakh.
Secure Benefit doubles his cover to ₹20 lakh immediately, covering the entire expense.

Care Supreme: Unlimited Restoration

Care Supreme focuses on complete restoration after every claim, making it suitable for families the require multiple hospitalisations during a year.

Illustration:
A family with a ₹10L policy faces two claims in one year:

  • A bypass surgery for one member: ₹8 lakh

  • And accidental claim for another: ₹4 lakh

The cover restores fully after the first claim of ₹8 lakh. For the second claim, full sum insured of ₹10 lakh is available. So the insurer settles the second claim of ₹4 lakh in full.

The insurer again restores the full SI of ₹10 lakh for any subsequent claim during the policy year.
